Organisation: Camera for the trailer.

When the stage of filming occurs and i will need to get shooting the scenes for my trailer i think it is imperative to me that i find a camera type that is best suited to what i am trying to create. I want a camera that is very good in quality but also has good mic so that voices and sounds can be heard.

Looking at it i have two options that could be used when the filming stage is underway. I can either pick my own phone the iPhone 6s or the nikon camera 3200.

Iphone 6s

The iPhone would offer a smaller more compact way of filming. Because of its size it can be carried to shoots easily and effectively. The new advancements in technology means that the iPhone can now film in really high quality and not look out of place and look like a high quality film.
However by picking a iPhone it may have some stability problems with the fact it would have to be handheld which may make it look amateurish. But additionally i just feel that a camera quality would just look and feel better mainly to the fact that the iPhones storage may not be as high as the camera and so cannot hold as much media as the camera.

Nikon 3200

This my own camera is something that would be very good to use for filming my trailer. One of the reasons why is that it is a smaller camera in terms of size which means taking it to shot locations would be easier and done with ease. The camera also has excellent image quality making sure any pictures or videos taken would look professional and as well done as possible. The nikon camera also has a feature of an external mic input, adding to the movie feel and making sure that my trailer would look as real as possible. The lens is also adjustable allowing me take a variety of different shot types from different angles and positions which helps me in all manors of ways. I item i may aim to purchase is a tripod just to add to the overall professionalism and slickness for my project.

So to conclude i think it would be only best for me to use my own camera for the project instead of the phone just to ensure that i have that higher quality camera that can produce the best it can, i feel that by using this camera my overall trailer would look more appealing and more engaging to the audience.
